David C. Hasbrouck

Attorney

We are thrilled to welcome David C. Hasbrouck to our team at KingBarnes in an “Of Counsel” position. David has been a practicing attorney in Atlantic-Cape May Counties for over 48 years and focuses his practice mainly on commercial law, real estate transactions and development, and estate planning and administration matters. Prior to joining the firm of KingBarnes, David worked for a number of Ocean City, Atlantic City and Wildwood law firms, with a four-year stint as an Assistant Atlantic County Counsel before becoming affiliated with his friends and future partners, the late Arthur T. Ford, III and Willis F. Flower (and for 19 years with Richard M. King, Jr.), in the law firm of Ford, Flower, Hasbrouck & Loefflad from 1983 to 2023. David graduated from Waynesburg University and Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. David was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1975, and immediately established himself as a knowledgeable and respected attorney in the South Jersey area. During the early part of his career, David worked for general practice firms and was exposed to a wide variety of legal practice areas, including serving as a municipal prosecutor in six Cape May and Atlantic County municipalities. As David’s career progressed, he decided to concentrate his practice on commercial law. David moved to Ocean City while attending law school in 1972 and currently resides in Somers Point, New Jersey. David was a long-time member and active participant in the Resorts and Atlantic City Country Club Squash programs and sincerely misses his playing days and partners. We feel sure that David’s experience and expertise will enhance our ability to best serve our current and future clients and friends. We are so happy he is a part of our team!
