Richard is a respected litigation attorney with over 25 years of experience in chancery and probate litigation matters. Richard was a partner at Ford, Flower, Hasbrouck and King. After 19 years, Richard started his own practice in May of 2015. He is a former law clerk to the Honorable L. Anthony Gibson, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division, Atlantic and Cape May Counties, Retired. He focuses his practice on estate litigation, commercial litigation, and construction matters. Richard also serves as the attorney to the City of Cape May Planning and Zoning Boards and the West Cape May Combined Planning/Zoning Board. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Rider University. Richard received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law, where he served on the Villanova Law Review. Upon graduating from Villanova, he was selected to the Order of the Coif and was awarded the Herman J. Obert award as the top graduate in the field of corporate law. Richard was the winner of the Ruby R. Vale National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition in Wilmington, Delaware. Richard was selected by the Atlantic County Bar Association and the Rimm Award Committee as the Outstanding Young Attorney in Atlantic County for the Year 2005. He is formerly a State-Certified Civil Mediator concentrating in General Equity, Estate and commercial litigation matters, and a former Trustee of the Atlantic County Bar Association. He served on the Executive Committee of the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court, and is the former President of Community Mediation Services of Atlantic County.
